Dr. 
Evangelos (Vagelis) Plevris is a Professional Civil Engineer and Economist.
He has been elected Assistant Professor in "Earthquake Engineering" (2010) at the Department of Civil and Structural Engineering Educators, School of Pedagogical & Technological Education (ASPETE), Athens, Greece where he currently teaches.
He holds the following:
- Bachelor in Civil Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) (1999)
- MSc from NTUA in "Analysis and Design of Earthquake Resistant Structures" (2001)
- MBA from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) (2003)
- PhD in Computational Mechanics from the School of Civil Engineering, NTUA (2009).
He is certified as a Civil Engineer by the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) and as an Economist by the Economical Chamber of Greece (ECG).
He has completed his military obligations serving as Cadet Reserve Officer in the Greek Air Force. Today he holds the rank of Reserve Second Lieutenant.
He is married, with two children.
